Sales and marketing is where planning, execution and analysis intersect. A company can have an unbeatable product and visionary leaders but what counts most over time is consistent performance from the sales team. Every quarter matters.
Surprisingly, the technology needs of sales and marketing groups are often underserved. As a result, critical operations are often relegated to an oversized spreadsheet or desktop database instead of robust production quality systems. The cost to the company of this type of workaround can vary from simple inefficiency to more serious problems that lead to bad decisions based on out of date, incomplete or incorrect data.
Tailor Technology Group is focused exclusively on creating custom technology solutions that address this gap. Our objective is to help companies envision, design and build solutions that will integrate planning, execution and analysis so that management can be much better informed and make better, more timely, decisions.
Tailor Technology Group was able to help a Fortune 500 company streamline their quarterly planning function. We replaced a spreadsheet-based, regionally unique process with a portal based process used across the globe. Benefits like real-time analysis of the plan, scenario planning and rebate analysis went from taking hours or even days to instantaneous.
Tailor Technology Group was able to help a Fortune 500 company aggregate sales data from several hundred retailers provided on monthly basis. Retailer files are in a non-standard format and the Tailor Group created a mechanism to load and map these files where several other companies had failed.
